Metro Soccer League (MSL)Registration

▲Top
The Metro Soccer League or MSL is comprised of teams formed from DISTRICT tryouts. Players on a DISTRICT formed team may come from many different clubs. Only the strongest most committed players (soccer first players) are chosen for these teams U13 to U18.
General registration for the new soccer season will open on February 17 2017. All players should register as "Divisional" players regardless of whether they are going to an MSL tryout.

If your player is selected to play at the MSL level we will ask you to pay the extra MSL fee separately.

Players selected to play on a WV MSL team must be registered AND PAID at the Divisional level before they can be placed at the MSL level.

Playing at the MSL level is more expensive than playing at the Divisional level. MSL teams generally have professional coaches who are paid a fee to coach.

New to Canada? Please read.

If you are new to Canada, you may need to complete some documentation before you can play in September. You may need to complete an International Transfer Certificate from BC Soccer. In accordance with CSA, BCSA and more specifically FIFA Rules governing the Transfer of players, all North Shore Clubs need to follow these procedures wherever applicable.

The target audience for these ITCs are players who have recently moved here from another country and are first time registrants in our Club. Included in the ITC Procedure is a Flow-Chart that is a visible guide detailing if players need to complete an ITC.

Please note that the International Transfer Application now needs to be completed for all players U11 to U18 (anyone 10 years old or older)

Evaluations

Except for North Shore Youth Soccer Association - District based-  MSL teams, WV no longer holds tryouts for the U11to U18 age groups. We form teams through an extensive assessment process which includes scouting through the season, the  in-club series and input from team coaches.

If you are a "new to WV player" and require an evaluation, please contact the registrar at registrar@westvansoccer.com
