BC Soccer is the designated "Provincial Sport Organization" for the sport of soccer in BC and is a full member of the Canadian Soccer Association. As such, we are entrusted by the statutes of FIFA, the CSA's constitution, BC Soccer's constitution and the Provincial Government's Societies Act with the mandate of fostering, developing and promoting the game of soccer in British Columbia – it is important to note that no other organization has this mandate in British Columbia.
BC Soccer Central is strictly an information site and I am not affiliated with any club or League. All schedules and scores are sent by club scorekeepers and League schedulers for me to make web ready.
The Vancouver Whitecaps FC Club Model illustrates the Whitecaps' commitment to development through support and integration with regional clubs and community soccer programs; and provision of development pathways for elite players in partnership with provincial and national governing bodies. The club model is anchored in regional and community development partnerships, which lead to more specialized youth development programs, full-time player programs, and ultimately professional or national playing positions.
Mission Statement The Canadian Soccer Association, in partnership with its members, is dedicated to promoting the growth and development of soccer for all Canadians at all levels. That in this pursuit, The Canadian Soccer Association, in partnership with its members, is committed to providing leadership and good governance for our sport.
The BC Coastal Girls Soccer League (previously know as the 5Districts League for girls) provides league administration and scheduling for 500+ U12-U18 girls youth teams ranging in level from Red to Gold. BCCGSL operates with the 6 Coast Region Districts in British Columbia, Canada. Our standard league playing season is from the 2nd weekend in September to the end of February. Cup playoffs are played in the months of March and April.
