BC Soccer Association

BC Soccer is the designated "Provincial Sport Organization" for the sport of soccer in BC and is a full member of the Canadian Soccer Association. As such, we are entrusted by the statutes of FIFA, the CSA's constitution, BC Soccer's constitution and the Provincial Government's Societies Act with the mandate of fostering, developing and promoting the game of soccer in British Columbia – it is important to note that no other organization has this mandate in British Columbia.

Girl's Metro Soccer
|
The mission of the Girls Metro Soccer League (GMSL) is to provide the administration necessary for the policy development, scheduling, operating and disciplining for an elite league that allows U14 to U18 girls from the five Lower Mainland and two Vancouver Island districts to play soccer at the highest level. As well, the GMSL provides an opportunity for U17 and U18 girls to further their soccer careers by providing an annual College Recruiting Game to showcase their talents.

Whitecaps Football Club

The Vancouver Whitecaps FC Club Model illustrates the Whitecaps' commitment to development through support and integration with regional clubs and community soccer programs; and provision of development pathways for elite players in partnership with provincial and national governing bodies. The club model is anchored in regional and community development partnerships, which lead to more specialized youth development programs, full-time player programs, and ultimately professional or national playing positions.

At the Caulfeild Elementary School, on Keith Road, accessed from Exit 4 on the Upper Levels Highway and down Caulfeild Drive, or from Marine Drive by coming up Keith Road. About 15 minutes west of the Ambleside field complex in downtown West Vancouver via Marine Drive.

North side of Marine Drive, east of Cypress Park creek, store and service station, west of Department of Fisheries research center and Burkehill Rd. Vehicle access is via Morgan Crescent (one-way from Marine Drive to Burkehill Rd).

West Van grass: Third St. and Mathers, WV. From Hwy1 Westbound, cross the Capilano River, take Taylor Way exit, turn immediately right on Hadden Dr., then immediate right to Mathers Ave. Turn right at 3rd Street. Park is past cemetery. From Hwy 1 Eastbound, take Taylor Way exit, go north above hwy, turn right and right again on Hadden Drive, continue down to Mathers Ave, turn left and then right on 3rd St.

Accessed by driving east on Marine Drive past the Lions Gate Bridge on/off ramp, north on Capilano Road one block, and east on Curling Road; turn right at the first (only) stop sign on Curling Road to field parking area.

The web site displays a number of original articles we have developed to assist youth sports coaches in their relationships with young players as well as parents.
We conduct seminars for youth coaches and clubs, with a focus on how better communications approaches can build character and confidence in youth athletes. The feedback we have received has been tremendously positive.
